We have replaced the traditional water trap seals with GREEN DRAIN’s membrane trap seal, and this installation has eliminated all problems with odours coming from the floor drains. Being the largest airport in the Nordic Countries, hosting approximately 100,000 travelers daily, it is very important that our drains remain maintenance free, in order to always ensure a satisfactory customer experience.

GREEN DRAIN has really shown its worth in especially two places. Firstly, in the toilet facilities, where drain traps quickly evaporated due to the low amounts of water used in the new eco-friendly way of floor cleaning, compared to earlier methods. Secondly, in the ventilation rooms where vacuum also caused unpleasant smells from the sewer system. Both places GREEN DRAIN solved the problems easily.

We have already installed the Green Drain with many of our customers. The use of Green Drain is of great satisfaction. Not only in floor drains but also in the air ventilation systems. Green Drain is the perfect solution to prevent penetration of insects and vermin from the drains.

2½ years ago we installed GREEN DRAIN in our hotel rooms and in our swim center, which has generated man-hour savings in the daily cleaning routines. Previously we had to make sure that dirt wasn’t blocking the trap seal, that the trap hadn’t evaporated or wasn’t emptied by vacuum in the pipe system.

In the last 2½ years, we haven’t even touched GREEN DRAIN, which performs far better than we ever dreamt of. Now we don’t get unnecessary visits from guests in the reception regarding complaints about problems that GREEN DRAIN now prevents.

At Greengate, we pride ourselves on providing our residents with a boutique style of living and personal care. Our attention to detail and individual care is key to our services and client experience. At our Maroubra site – St. Brigid’s Green – our drain fly problem was becoming an issue for residents and staff alike, which I can safely say that it is behind us now.

Our fly infestation around our serving and dining areas seemed to be getting worse, spreading to a number of floors. Our hygiene company Medclean suggested we install Green Drains to seal their breeding grounds. We decided to attack the problem from all angles and combined a wholistic solution between our Pest Management and Hygiene and Green Drains.

Eddie initially came out to meet with our facility manager and conducted a site audit to evaluate our challenges. The service was very comprehensive and put together a complete drain maintenance solution plan to proactively protect our problem areas.

Looking after one of Australia’s premier hospitals, the Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) can be very challenging. With a 488-bed facility, there is always something going on. NBH services residents across Sydney’s Northern beaches and is still regarded as being new and world class. It is vital to keep the facility safe, clean and operational at all times.

We recently had a drain fly infiltration problem within our utilities, kitchens and service areas and tried to manage it by traditional pest control maintenance. This seemed to work ok initially, then the problem would return, and it appeared to be spreading to different sections. Certain areas also had drain smells from time to time.
