Fits good and drains good but still let’s a little gas smell out but it help a whole lot.

Very good product!

Amazon finally sent me the right size, used to stop drain smells on my old 4″ ground drains, allows water from furnace to still drip in but stops unpleasant sewer smells & bugs.

Love this thing. It has stopped sewage gases from leaking up into my basement at a drain that is uneven with the floor and can’t accommodate a traditional cap. Was SO happy to find this invention and happier to have a cheap solution to a problem I was struggling to solve. 10/10

Easy to install. Does the job

We have felt with sewer gas in our basement for years. Old, rusted drains. This fixed the sewer gas leak into our basement. Worth the investment!

The Green Drain seal completely stopped the odor coming from the floor drain in my furnace room. It was easy to install. I simply pushed it down the 3 inch pipe and within a few hours the room smelled like a house again instead of a sewer drain. Then the whole house smelled better. Didn’t know the smelly floor drain was affecting the upper floors too. Green Drain is a great value for the money because of what you get in return. It Works. Works. Works. I really wish I had discovered this product two houses ago. It just makes life better and better.

My basement bathroom’s toilet and shower share the same pipe to the sub pump. It doesn’t get frequently used, but soon after it does the sewage smell coming up from the shower drain is awful. I was pouring bleach down there, flushing the toilet multiple times, dish soap, hot water… Then I found this thing and any and all smells have been mitigated. The fit is more loose than I expected for my pipe (as if it were 2.65″), but the upper most lip of the plug covers the pipe opening. Hasn’t seemed to affect its function. Highly recommended. Super easy fix for a long standing miasma.

Works very well. Fits snug and keeps smell out of basement, while letting water drain.
