I was introduced to this product thru a referral from a trusted colleague. I needed a solution for drains that do not see frequent use in a federal
government office complex that consists of a 14 story high rise and three federal court houses. We were experiencing foul odors and frequent
finding insect problems in these areas.
Once installed the Green Drain solved our issues. No more need to flush the drains or add enzymes. This product really works! My maintenance and
housekeeping staff give it a thumbs up! I highly recommend this product if you have similar issues.

We have completed the install of the Green Drain product, installation could not be easier.
I am impressed with the simplistic design and the quality of the materials of construction. We have had issues with pest intrusion at some floor drain
locations. Since we have installed these units we have monitored for activity and have found none.
Just with the pest issue alone we are sold, not to mention elimination of drain maintenance and drain oudors.

My name is Neil Batt, I am a Captain of large sailing yachts and Motorboats. I have worked this job for over 40 years. This product GREEN DRAIN is the smartest and easiest product to use I have ever seen in my lifetime of working on boats.

I had shower water holding tank problem on the Sailing yacht Ireland. We tried to find and fix the problem over years with no luck. We tried making bigger U-bend water traps, we tried chemicals, cleaning the tanks regularly, — you name it, we tried it.

By chance I was looking on the Internet and saw GREEN DRAIN. I was sent a few to try from Green Drain Europe. You cannot imagine how easy it was. I lifted the shower floor removed the hair catcher drain and popped the green drain in all the showers. The next time we went sailing guess what, not one smell! You cannot imagine how pleased the owner was. So simple and so easy to fit. The whole boat was smell free in a few minutes. After all those years and it would have been 3 years trying everything to fix the smell, and a 5 minute job and it was gone. I am now on a new boat and will fit GREEN DRAIN on every shower and sink.

I wish I knew about this thing 5 years ago. I’ve been living with a shower drain with no p-trap and no easy access to install one for 5 years. This slid into the drain easily and has been installed for a couple weeks now. No more sewer gas smell and no more having to cover the drain after every use. Totally worth the money. Time will tell how long it lasts but I have a feeling it will hold up. I put it about 3 inches down the drain pipe and dont have any problems with water pooling in the shower, still drains fine.

We had a 2″ drain that was just horrendous with a sewer gas issue. The space was commercial, and had been vacant for years. Obviously the trap had dried out, and adding water and oil as advised by a plumber had little effect – we tried so many drain cleaners, a snake, anything to kill the odor – nothing worked. It was turning my customers off because the smell would leave the bathroom and into the main training area (in our martial arts school). I was at the end of my rope and about to conceid to having the concrete jack hammered up and the drain and trap replaced – until I found this product. For $20 bucks my problem is gone, no smell what so ever – I couldn’t be happier, just wish I knew about this product from the get go!

I was tired of my shower’s p-trap letting gases up in to the bathroom, so I thought I’d try this as a cheaper solution than dealing with whatever plumbing problem is causing that. The stinky gases have stopped coming up, but I was worried that it might not let the water flow down as fast as the shower head puts it out, but it works just fine as long as you push it about 2 to 3 inches down in to the drain (use needle nose plier to grab the top and adjust its position). If you position it right, you won’t be standing in a puddle as you shower. It gets five stars from me for now, but only time will tell if this item works for me in the longer term. I have no idea yet what effect normal showering will have on it, or how often my wife’s long hair will clog this up.

Love this thing. It has stopped sewage gases from leaking up into my basement at a drain that is uneven with the floor and can’t accommodate a traditional cap. Was SO happy to find this invention and happier to have a cheap solution to a problem I was struggling to solve. 10/10

Does an excellent job sealing the drain and eliminating odor coming from the drain.

I ultimately returned this because it drains slower than the water flow from my shower causing puddling, and found the Oatey2 in. Seal Drain for Showers and General Purpose works best for my everyday use.
