Four flexible silicone sealing ribs form a one-way valve. Water passes through freely under gravity. When flow stops, the ribs close to create a continuous mechanical seal. No water required.
The GD25 is sized specifically for Australian 2.5" (DN65) drain standards, accommodating pipe diameters from 63 to 65 mm. This size sits between the GD2 and GD3 and is not available outside Australia.

Lift the existing drain grate or strainer from the floor drain body.
Place the Green Drain into the drain body or hub opening.
Recess 2 to 4 inches below the pipe top. The silicone gasket creates a snug seal against the pipe walls.
Put the grate back. Done. A full commercial floor in an afternoon.
The 2.5" floor drain is specific to Australian plumbing standards. The GD25 serves residential and light commercial applications across a range of building types.
